ADP7: The linguist’s palette

Penned on the 11th day of January, 2021. It was a Monday.

This is a palette for programming languages, similar to what is used on GitHub repositories to summarise a project’s composition. Visual thinkers will already have colours they associate with different languages, so this is not an attempt to make any standard or such. That said, it is an attempt to characterise languages well, in the hopes that these colours will proliferate and gain mindshare in future generations of programmers.

The colours are displayed as background to the languages’ names. Click on one to copy the RGB hex code to your clipboard.
